Rob first started on his own in 2014 as he was frustrated working for the larger companies, who didn’t seem to care about the workers or the customer’s, all they were interested in was the cheque! Although small scale to start with Rob approached Paul Jones a vastly experienced and skilled fitter / manger within the double glazing industry and asked if he would like to help out on the larger jobs.

This turned out to be a masterstroke as with Paul’s great knowledge and skill, and Robs communication skill and customer care things started to snowball, we have many customers who have returned to have more work done or ask us for advice, which we are always glad to give. Many of our fantastic customers are always happy to recommend us to friends and family for which we are eternally grateful. We have over 50 years’ experience between us within the industry with skills ranging from fitting windows, doors, conservatories, guttering & fascia boards to surveying, managing teams of fitters and the like.

So with things starting to move upwards we decided to find a reputable manufacturer who would deal with a small start-up outfit like ourselves directly, rather than using middlemen, thus keeping prices down and enabling us to compete on a level playing field with anyone. We approached a company from Huddersfield called John Fredericks as we have had their products fitted in both our homes and also fitted them before for another company, we knew they were great quality, but would they deal with us?

John Fredericks are part of the A&B Group who are at the forefront of developing great idea and innovations that have come into being within the industry, they have a lot of these exclusively on their products.

John Fredericks did decide to take us under their wing and send a charismatic rep to see us (Steve Olsen), who we immediately connected with straight off the bat. He offered us a fantastic package and didn’t shrink back from offering us everything that they offer to all their biggest clients, they have given us tremendous support and treated us if we were one of their biggest and best customers. So to them we owe great gratitude and hope for a long and fruitful relationship.

We are perfectly situated on the M50 & M5 corridor to be able to operate and provide great service to the 4 counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Monmouthshire. We are a fully registered and vetted business with Certass who are one of the governing bodies commissioned by the government to police the double glazing industry; some people know this as FENSA but Fensa is only one of them. We are public liability insured and through the Kinnell Holdings group provide the customer with an insurance backed guarantee for your installation and it also covers your deposits. Alongside all this we give our own 10 year workmanship guarantee.
